This striking countryside residence offers guests a serene and unique mountain experience only two hours from the Sydney CBD. Rest and relax with food, wine, friends and family in this sublime architectural Blue Mountains retreat.

Named after the poem by Robert Frost, Mending Wall was shortlisted in the 2009 World Architecture Festival and is now offered as luxury accommodation.

Located in Mt Irvine, a small village off the Bells Line of Road in the Blue Mountains, this unique house gives a modern and thrilling take on the Blue Mountains experience. Enjoy the fresh air and majestic natural scenery by day and cosy fires and star filled skies at night. Mending Wall is the ultimate country retreat in which to relax by the fire, read a book from the impressive library or explore its beautifully landscaped cool climate gardens - which also offer endless space for the kids to run around.

The location is also a perfect base to explore the neighbouring gardens and estates of Mt Wilson which are home to some of the finest exotic cool climate gardens in Australia - a divine feast for the senses and a photographer's delight.
