Featuring eclectic tropical architecture and contemporary styling with french country touches, Gurragawee’s resort-style accommodation including an inviting swimming pool is available for up to 12 people as part of an artstay, wedding or corporate event catering. Our accommodation includes a resort-style renovated farmhouse with four spacious bedrooms luxuriously setup for couples or twin share; the one bedroom art studio, which offers an inspiring setting; and, our newest addition, ‘The Shed @ Gurragawee’ offering a further two bedrooms.
Gurragawee is set on 10 acres in Brooklet, northern New South Wales, just 10 minutes from the picturesque village of Bangalow and 15 minutes from the great beaches of Byron Bay. With amazing views and undulating hills, the idyllic and peaceful surrounds of Gurragawee create the perfect environment to relax, celebrate or re-energise.
Art-stays:
This is a unique opportunity to gather a group of up to 12 friends to expand your artistic horizons in an atmosphere filled with fun and laughter. We will personalise a creative workshop package to suit your needs and provide you with an appropriate facilitator/practitioner so you can learn to draw, paint, mosaic, landscape, photograph, sew, write, cook or anything else that takes your fancy! Anything is possible at Gurragawee!
Gurragawee's purpose built art studio is also available to artists or writers wanting to undertake a body of work and enjoy a relaxing break away from their usual environment. The studio is designed as a live-in facility with separate accommodation including a master bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, open-plan workroom and outdoor area.

Weddings:
Gurragawee is the perfect setting for your special day. Superbly located on 10 idyllic acres with magnificent gardens, gurragawee is an exclusive and enchanting wedding venue that offers complete privacy for you and up to 150 guests.
We tailor the venue to suit your needs, whether that be a garden wedding ceremony or cocktail reception and have an allocated space for a marquee that that overlooks our beautiful landscaped gardens. Additional features include use of well-appointed kitchen for catering, an indoor/outdoor area that is suitable for pre-wedding drinks, and a separate pavilion for dancing and entertainment.
Accommodation is also available for up to 12 people, twin-share.
Corporate Events:

We can tailor a program to support your budget, timing and agenda. Our relaxed atmosphere enables attendees to leave the office behind and really focus on the agenda at hand; the facilities are inspiring, low-key, and conducive to generating positive outcomes.
We can provide accommodation for up to 12 people or set up the venue for larger gatherings of up to 100 people for events such as product launches or client functions.
